The “NEW VET Share your Story Contest 2022” edition
Vocational Education and Training (VET) can take many forms and cover a range of skills. VET is a great option for students looking to kick-start their career, employers wanting to upskill workforces, adult learners preparing for a new role, etc. By sharing your VET experience (personal or your organisation’s one) you will help to raise awareness and to make VET a first choice for people willing to follow their talent.
If you are an adult VET learner (above 18 years of age), a teacher/tutor or an in-company trainer/mentor coming from one of the NEW VET partner’s country (Italy, France, Germany, Slovenia and Greece) you can share your VET story and you may have the opportunity to win an electronic gadget.
Your story will be evaluated by a special jury composed by 1 VET learner, 1 VET teacher, 1 in-company trainer/mentor and 1 representative of the NEW VET partner of your country. NEW VET project will select 3 winners from each project country (one for each category) and it will award one tablet per each participant on the basis of the following criteria: Relevance, Quality and Impact of your story. Follow these simple steps to share your story:
1) Fill in our short application form. This is your opportunity to share your success in VET and to be awarded for that! Stories can be as detailed as you wish (a few suggestions your story could include are: why you chose VET, how your journey began or what you learnt from your experience), please add an image to help tell your story.
2) Once your story has been submitted, it will be evaluated by NEW VET project partners. It will provide inspiration to those who are considering their own journey in VET and could inspire someone to discover their talent.
3) Winners will be notified directly by e-mail. The 3 winners from each NEW VET country will be contacted directly by project partners and will be informed about the steps on how to receive their prize.
